Concurrent Analytical is a diagnostic
research and development company and is the inventor of
Ramanprobes. Ramanprobes
is a revolutionary new method in point-of-care diagnostics
that enables the possibility to detect and identify multiple cancer biomarkers
concurrently in seconds, at the sensitivity and specificity necessary for early cancer
diagnosis.
Only a drop of blood is necessary for the analysis.
Ramanprobes has been
used successfully in the early detection of pancreatic cancer. So early
in fact that for the first time, therapy for pancreatic cancer may be
possible.
Ramanprobes
can be used for
most cancers where biomarkers have been identified, and for virus
detection. Concurrent Analytical Inc. has been recently chosen by
NSF to develop its
Ramanprobes
system to battle the Herpes virus epidemic. Read about it
here.
It is our vision and goal that when combined with the
ongoing industry effort using proteomics to identify cancer biomarkers,
Ramanprobes will
be the diagnostic method of choice to profile those biomarkers.
Ramanprobes has
the ability to provide the detection and identification of cancer through
biomarkers at an earlier stage then by other methods - thereby
affording the best chance of recovery.
This is the beginning in a new paradigm of diagnostics -
we call it Advanced Wellness Testing.
